About our staff...

Rev. Kathryn Rust is Ebenezer UCC's Intentional Interim Minister. Pastor Rust has her MDiv from Garret Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evansion, IL. She has her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Lakeland College, Sheboygan, WI. Pastor Rust comes to minstry after a multifaceted career path in elementary teaching, editing a professional job publication, managing law firms and ultimately entering parish ministry with the United Church of Christ. Pastor Rust has served churches in Wisconsin, Florida & Illinois. Additionally, she has called Metro New York and New Jersey home for many years. Pastor Rust has her certification in Transitional Ministry from Interim Ministry Network and is a member of the Association of UCC Intentional Interim Ministers (AUCCIM). She is also serving on the United Church of Christ Inc., (UCCI) Camp Board for the Wisconsin Conference UCC. Family and Youth Camp is a passion of hers. Pastor Rust loves to share stories over a lunch, ice cream sundae or coffee at some of the marvelous eating establishments in the area. Elaine Hessil is a retired teacher. She gives piano lesson from her home. Elaine is the person to contact is you would like to use your musical talents in church. Elaine and Ruth Aebischer work together to direct our Bell Choir and our beginner bells group. Gail Dedering is our choir director. Gail is married to Jim and has 6 children. Gail is also a grade school music teacher. If you would like to join Ebenezer's Chancel Choir or have any questions about our choir call Gail at 920-849-9790.

Jane Schroeder shares organist duties with Elaine and is also the Chancel Choir's accompianist. Jane and her husband John have two adult son. Jane has been playing organ here at Ebenezer since she was 13. Jane can be reached at 898-5259.

Joan Woelfel has been our administrative assistant for the past 4 years. Joan is married to Herb and they have 4 adult children.She is in the church office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you need to schedule a wedding, baptism or just have questions about Ebenezer call Joan at 920-849-4331 or at home at 849-9763.

Don Pingel our Janitor and all around handyman is married to Donna and they have 3 adult children. Don sings in the Chancel Choir and also does solo work for weddings and funerals. Contact Don at 920-849-2062
